Meet the Team
PromptUse is an independent project run by AI enthusiasts who use these techniques daily.
About Us
PromptUse is built and maintained by a small group of independent contributors who work with AI tools every day. We are not affiliated with any AI company (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, or otherwise) and we do not accept sponsorships from tool vendors.
Our team includes people with backgrounds in:
- Software development (Python, JavaScript, SQL, Go)
- Technical writing and documentation
- Data analysis and business intelligence
- Content strategy and marketing
What qualifies us to write about prompt engineering is simply that we use it constantly — for code review, writing, research, data analysis, and workflow automation. Every guide is based on techniques we have tested ourselves.
Our Mission
We started PromptUse because we were frustrated with the gap between what AI models are capable of and what most users actually get from them. The difference is almost always the prompt — yet prompt writing is a skill that receives almost no formal education.
Our mission is to close that gap with free, practical, tested resources. We believe that better prompts lead to better AI interactions, which in turn lead to more productive work and more creative output for everyone.
How We Work
Before any article is published:
- We test every prompt: All examples are run through at least two major models (Claude and ChatGPT, usually Gemini as well). We only recommend what consistently works.
- We verify outputs: Every before/after comparison, code sample, and result screenshot is real — never fabricated.
- We review each other: Articles are peer-reviewed by at least one other team member before publication.
- We update: When models change behavior, we revisit and revise our guides.
What We Value
Our editorial values shape every piece of content we publish:
- Honesty about limitations: We tell you when a technique does not work, not just when it does.
- Practical over theoretical: We focus on what you can use today, not what might work in the future.
- Accessibility: We write for beginners and experts alike. Jargon is explained, not assumed.
- Privacy: Our tools run entirely in your browser because we believe your prompts should stay private.
Our Independence
PromptUse is funded by display advertising (Google AdSense). We do not participate in affiliate programs for AI tools. If we recommend a specific tool, it is because we actually use it, not because we are paid to promote it.
If this ever changes, we will disclose it clearly in our Editorial Policy.
