Editorial Policy
How we research, verify, and maintain every guide on PromptUse.
Our Mission
PromptUse exists to help people get measurably better results from AI tools. Every guide, template, and recommendation on this site is designed to be immediately useful, technically accurate, and honest about what works and what does not.
How We Create Content
1. Research
All guides begin with hands-on research. Our authors test techniques across multiple AI models (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, and others as relevant) before making any claims about effectiveness. We review current academic literature, official documentation, and community reports to ensure our advice reflects the state of the field.
2. Drafting
Guides are written by subject-matter experts with direct experience using the techniques they describe. We do not use AI to generate article content — AI is used for examples and demonstrations only, and those examples are clearly labeled.
3. Technical Review
Before publication, every guide is reviewed by at least one other expert on our team. Technical reviewers check that all code examples compile, all prompt examples produce the described output, and all claims are supported by evidence.
4. Accuracy Updates
AI models evolve. What works perfectly today may behave differently after a model update. We review our most-visited guides on a quarterly basis and update them when necessary. Each article displays its last-updated date prominently.
What We Do Not Publish
- Undisclosed sponsored content: We do not publish content paid for by AI tool companies or related products without clear disclosure at the top of the article.
- Fabricated examples: Every before/after comparison, output sample, and code snippet must work as described. We never invent example responses.
- Get-rich-quick schemes: We do not promote unethical uses of AI, such as generating fake reviews, spam, or deceptive content.
- Outdated advice: If a technique no longer works due to a model change, we update or archive the guide rather than leave incorrect information online.
Affiliate Links and Monetization
PromptUse is funded primarily through display advertising (Google AdSense). We do not participate in affiliate programs for AI tools. If we ever use affiliate links in the future, they will be clearly labeled in the article and in this policy. Our recommendations are never influenced by advertising relationships.
Corrections Policy
We believe in intellectual honesty. If a reader finds an error in our content — a broken code example, an outdated claim, or a factual mistake — we correct it promptly and, if significant, add a note to the article explaining what was changed and why. To report an error, please use our contact form.
